Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress and former model mostly active on the Indian film industry. The actress was also named the winner of the year 2006 Miss Sri Lanka Universe pageant. Fernandez, who is of Canadian, Sri Lankan, Malaysian and multiracial heritage she spent her entire childhood in Bahrain. After receiving a mass communications degree at the University of Sydney, she spent time for a time in Sri Lanka as a television reporter for many years before entering the modeling industry. Following her participation in Miss Universe 2006, she was one of the most sought-after fashion models from Sri Lanka. On a tour for professional models to India in 2009 Jasmine was cast as Aladin for the role of Aladin by Sujoy Ghosh. Her breakout role was in 2011 when she was chosen to play the lead female character Priya in the film 'Murder 2'. The actress' career took off after it became a critically and commercial success. Since then, she has appeared in films such as Housefull 2 and 3, "Race 2," "Definition of Fear' and the film 'Judwaa'. She serves as the brand ambassador for many companies and has earned many prizes. She is an active community member who supports a variety of organizations and causes.
